Description

VEKA Softline 82 is a system of profiles PVC produced by VEKA, with high thermal and sound insulation performance, for windows and doors, for both new buildings and renovations.
Performance and compliance
  • Softline 82 meets modern energy efficiency requirements, including requirements for passive houses in certain configurations.
  • Complies with high quality classes (Class A for PVC profiles) according to European standards.
  • Good sound performance, depending on the glass and size.
Recommended uses
  • New homes with increased energy efficiency requirements.
  • Renovated buildings where thermal improvement and comfort are desired.
  • Tilt&turn, swing, sliding, tilt&turn, balcony, patio doors, etc.
  • Projects where aesthetics matter - wide variety of colors, finishes, aluminum cladding possibilities.
Possible limitations / to check
  • Maximum performance depends very much on the glazing (number of panes, type of glass), fitting and sealing - if not done correctly, the benefits of the system can be lost.
  • The cost may be higher than shallower profiles or profiles with fewer chambers, but the investment is justified by the long-term savings.
  • For very large sashes or doors, it is important to check the static capacity and the manufacturer's technical specifications.
